This accounting and tax specialist firm was established 1978 in Slacks Creek. They have a client base of over 4000 individuals, businesses and entities. Their staff are all senior tax, business and superannuation advisors.

MicroEd have managed their site for a number of years now, and they approached us to upgrade their website. The previous website became hard to maintain over the years due to its static design. The new website makes their lives a lot easier using WordPress and relevant plugins.

Created based on our Intermediate Package (with a lot more pages).
Animated slider by request of the client, this was on the old website.
Advanced file manager plugin to handle the large number of documents hosted on the website.
Extra widgets, one to show Recent Documents, Twitter Feed and a YouTube Video.

These days Mobile Phones, Tablets and other small devices are commonly used in place of traditional computers for accessing the internet. A problem commonly occurs where your desktop website may not be suitable for these devices due to technology limitations, such a small screen resolution.

So what can we do? Well there is various different ways we can go about enabling your website for a mobile device. You can set up a redirect to an alternate website on a sub domain or directory, this is done automatically by detecting if you are on a device. In the case of WordPress websites, there is a plugin to achieve a very satisfying result.

The attached image (enlarge the thumbnail) is an example of WPtouch WordPress plugin in action, this plugin uses the pages in your current website, and alters the style so that it works on portable devices. The bonus of this method is the ability to switch between the Mobile and Regular website theme.

The backend has an image database only accessible to clients that are given the appropriate details, this was an extra feature added to the quote.
